Can anyone tell me where to go for good SolidWorks training in a classroom environment? I want to learn more on advanced assembly mates/references as well as motion etc. I live in Huntington Beach.
I have an upcoming project that will require some engineering that it a bit beyond my current reach. The overall product is a baseball pitching machine that can shoot balls in many directions with the use of actuators/ robotics
to control the ball shooter.
Looking for someone that can possibly put in 10 to 15 hours a week on the project-

I’ve had the good fortune to have designed and patented some neat software technologies that have done really well. That said, this is my first experience with prototyping my own 3D designs.
I’ve got some very simple concepts for kitchenware and utensils. I’ve hand-built models that work great. Now it’s time to load them into Solidworks, and print some 3D variations.
This isn’t some complicated, articulating, zero-tolerance wangdoodle. I don’t need anyone with mad skills. I have all the dimensions and can describe the parts as really simple revolved solid and extruded solids.
It would be great to get some feedback as to the most efficient way to develop the models and generate some prototypes… locally if possible.
Maximum part size is 6″x6″x12″. Maximum part volume is around 8 cubic inches.
Thanks!

I wanted to let you know about an EPDM/SolidWorks opportunity I am working on in Houston, TX. (This is a permanent role).
Our client is seeking a PDMWorks Analyst to manage SolidWorks and Enterprise PDMWorks (EPDM) support issues. This position will entail working with the users in the setup of PDMWorks vaults, development/modifications of workflows, and supporting the implementation of new releases and patches to SolidWorks and EPDM. Here are more details: http://www.strategiccareers.com/job_details.aspx?jobid=BF-4057571804
Our client is open to having someone who has more experience with SolidWorks than EPDM or vice versa. They may even be interested in hiring two candidates if they find two strong possibilities. They are ready to start the interview process. I’d be happy to speak with anyone who is interested.
Thank you!
